The International Travel Photographer of the Year Exhibition 2015
A fab free exhibition for any travel enthusiast. The Royal Geographical Society in Kensington plays host to the winning photos of this year’s International Travel Photographer of the Year Awards. The photos are displayed through the building’s lovely gardens and is a perfect escape from the bustling city.
This year’s winner was Britain’s own Philip Lee Harvey who blew the judges away with his beautiful portraiture from his explorations in Ethiopia and Namibia.
Another of my particular favourites was the portfolio of Marsel Van Oosten (image below) whose stunning shots use a tiny human figure to give the viewer such an awesome sense of scale.
The exhibition has everything from intimate portraiture and rarely captured wildlife to beautiful otherworldly landscapes. Well worth a trip to West London for a little travel inspiration and escapism.
